CDC's home page provides links to other useful CDC sites for infectious disease data.
 

MMWR's home page is the most useful. In the middle of MMWR's home page are icons that provide access to:

bullet the current and recent issues of MMWR;
 
bullet CDC recommendations and reports (mostly concerning infectious disease prevention and control);
 
bullet surveillance summaries;
 
bullet summaries of notifiable diseases; and
 
bullet other publications (The Journal of Emerging Infectious Diseases).


WHO's home page includes links and direct access to several other WHO sites that contain current information on infectious diseases including:
 

bullet recent reports on known (i.e., reported) infectious disease outbreaks;
